Lions open 140th season versus Marshall

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State Football has announced that its 2026 season and home opener against Marshall, on Sept. 5, will be designated as the Stripe Out game. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on FS1. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State redshirt senior quarterback Rocco Becht was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List on Monday, while redshirt senior long snapper Blaise Sokach-Minnick was selected to the Mannelly Award Watch List.
