Spikes-Cutters nixed due to weather

UNIVERSITY PARK – Sunday night’s scheduled first-half finale between the State College Spikes and Williamsport Crosscutters at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park was canceled due to inclement weather. The game will not be made up. Fans holding tickets for Sunday night’s game can exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to any other 2026 Spikes home game, based on availability. Exchanges can be made at the Spikes Ticket Office at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park during normal business hours. Lady Lions named AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholars

GLOUCESTER, Mass. – Nine members of the Penn State women’s hockey team were named AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholars, the American Hockey Coaches Association announced Monday. The honorees are recent graduates Taylor Lum, Katie DeSa, Tessa Janecke and Leah Stecker; rising juniors Abby Stonehouse, Grace Tullock and Taya MacDonald; and rising sophomores Sophie Morrow and Shelby Shane. UNIVERSITY PARK – Head coach Guy Gadowsky and the Penn State men’s ice hockey team announced the support staff additions of Alec Marsh and Derek Avery earlier this week. Marsh, a 2019 graduate and former Nittany Lion forward, will serve as Director of Player Personnel & Video while Avery, a 2024 graduate and former student manager, returns as Director of Operations & analytics.
