4-H field day brings wildlife and forestry concepts to life

UNIVERSITY PARK — A field day event held recently by Penn State Extension gave youth 4-H members from across Pennsylvania an opportunity to explore their interest in wildlife and forestry. The “Exploratory Tract” for youth ages 7-11 included hands-on wildlife and forestry educational activities and guest speakers. HARRISBURG — A new state law, Act 148 of 2022, allows the Pennsylvania Game Commission to modernize and simplify how antlerless deer licenses are sold. The new antlerless license purchasing process allows hunters to purchase 2023-24 antlerless licenses online at HuntFishPA, or at any in-store hunting license issuing agent. Fishing regulations lifted on Kahle Lake

HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is alerting anglers that all seasons, sizes, and creel limits have been lifted on Kahle Lake located in Clarion and Venango counties.
