Annie T. Hallinger, 103, of Yeagertown, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. Born Dec. 16, 1921, in Shrader, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary C (Genovese) Spagnoletti. In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph P. Hallinger. Although they were married for a short two years, the time they were together was filled with love. She was also preceded in death by all her siblings and sons-in-law, John B. Robert B. Burkett

Robert Burkett, 70, of New Llang, La., and formerly of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025. He was the son of the late John and Louise Burkett. He was preceeded in death by his brothers, Harold Elmer, Andrew and Paul Burkett, and a sister, Martha Rupert. He is survived by his sisters, Ann Royer and Carol Potts and her husband, Jack, and his children, Kathy Jo, Angela and son, Christopher. He had a liftlong career in the U.S. Army and was working as a recruiter at the time of his death. Services will be held at the convenience of his family in Rock Hill, S.C.
