Foster Grandparent Program of Central PA recognizes its volunteers

SELINSGROVE — The Foster Grandparent Program of Central PA held its annual luncheon on June 21 for its volunteers, which recognized 90 volunteers from the Susquehanna Valley and surrounding areas for their service as foster grandparents. For the 2016-2017 year, 30 volunteers were noted and received awards for completing their first, third, fifth,10th, 15th or 20th year of service. Jane Korbich, of Sunbury, and Robert Roth, of Sunbury, both received citations for serving as foster grandparents for 15 years. Glenn Maneval, of Port Trevorton, celebrated his 20th year. The ...
