NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks are mixed Wednesday after the Federal Reserve announced its latest hike to interest rates but hinted the end to them may be near. The S&P 500 was down 0.3% in late trading, and it drifted between modest gains and losses immediately after the Fed’s announcement. Firm that hired kids to clean meat plants keeps losing work

(AP) — The slaughterhouse cleaning company that was found to be employing more than 100 children to help sanitize dangerous razor-sharp cutting equipment like bone saws has continued to lose contracts with the major meat producers since the investigation became public last fall. WASHINGTON (AP) — Adidas is facing a class-action lawsuit from investors who allege the company knew about offensive remarks and harmful behavior from Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, years before ending its partnership with him. The German sportsbrand cut ties with its star collaborator in late October, following Ye’s antisemitic comments on social media and in interviews. Judge rules against Google, allows antitrust case to proceed

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A federal judge on Friday rejected a motion from Google to toss out the government’s antitrust case against it. U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema ruled the lawsuit alleging Google wields monopolistic power in the world of online advertising can proceed in its entirety. Her ruling is the second setback for Google at the federal court in Alexandria.
