ALTOONA, Pa. – The Penn State Altoona women’s basketball team announced its 2025-26 regular season schedule on Thursday afternoon.

The Lions will play 25 games in 2025-26, including 12 home games in Adler Arena and the team’s 16-date Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference schedule.

Penn State Altoona begins its season with six non-conference games in November, starting on the road against Eastern Mennonite University (Friday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m.). The Lions’ first home games are against Gettysburg University (Tuesday, November 11 at 7 p.m.) and Juniata College (Thursday, November 13 at 7 p.m.), and the team returns to the road after that to face Penn College (Monday, November 17; start time TBA) and Alfred University (Friday, November 21 at 5 p.m.). The Lions close the month at home against Lycoming College (Tuesday, November 25 at 6 p.m.).

Penn State Altoona starts AMCC play in December, hosting Pitt-Greensburg (Wednesday, December 3 at 7 p.m.) before dipping back into non-conference play at home against Penn State Harrisburg (Monday, December 8 at 6 p.m.). The Lions travel to play conference foe Pitt-Bradford (Wednesday, December 10 at 7 p.m.), then come back home to take on AMCC opponent Penn State Behrend (Saturday, December 13 at 2 p.m.). Penn State Altoona finishes the calendar year on the road against a pair of non-conference teams, playing Waynesburg University (Saturday, December 20 at 1 p.m.) and Division II Lock Haven University (Tuesday, December 30 at 5:30 p.m.).

As 2026 begins, Penn State Altoona will focus on AMCC play the rest of the way. On the road in January, the Lions will play at Hilbert College (Wednesday, January 7 at 5:30 p.m.), La Roche University (Saturday, January 17 at 2 p.m.), and Mount Aloysius College (Wednesday, January 21 at 5:30 p.m.). At home, the team will face Alfred State College (Saturday, January 10 at 2 p.m.), Carlow University (Wednesday, January 14 at 7 p.m.), Pitt-Bradford (Wednesday, January 28 at 7 p.m.), and Hilbert (Saturday, January 31 at 1 p.m.).

On the road in February, the Lions will travel to play Carlow (Wednesday, February 4 at 7 p.m.), Penn State Behrend (Saturday, February 14 at 2 p.m.), Pitt-Greensburg (Wednesday, February 18 at 7 p.m.), and Alfred State (Saturday, February 21 at 2 p.m.). At home, Penn State Altoona hosts La Roche (Saturday, February 7 at 2 p.m.) and Mount Aloysius (Wednesday, February 11 at 5:30 p.m.).
