Indians tame Tigers, 3-0
COCOLAMUS — East Juniata volleyball hosted Millersburg on Thursday night and lost in three sets. The scores were 19-25, 13-25, 14-25.
Libby Hoffman, senior middle, had four kills and four blocks.
Addi Dimm, senior outside, had nine digs. Lily Goodling, senior outside, had seven digs.
EJ visits Southern Huntingdon on Monday.
EJ is now 1-17 on the season.

Lady Huskies battle at Windber
SALIX — Mifflin County girls golf competed Thursday at Windber Country Club for the District 6 Class 3A Championships.
In order to advance to the state tournament, golfers had to win the district championship. Neither Lily Breon, nor Emma Norman finished first.
However, the day was st ill a success. Emma Norman shot a score of 102, which placed in a tie for 10th place. Her first career top 10 finish. Lily Breon shot a score of 115, which placed 16th. It was a very windy day, and made for difficult playing conditions. Both girls finished their season on a respectable note.

Mustangs best Bulldogs, 2-0
JERSEY SHORE — Addie Yerg and Ava Aitkins each scored a goal as Midd-West beat Jersey Shore on Thursday, 2-0.
Midd-West is now 7-4-1 (4-2-1 PHAC) and the Bulldogs are 3-9 (1-5 PHAC).
Midd-West scored twice in the final half.

MILLERSBURG — Juniata girls soccer topped Millersburg, 3-0.
Mylee Landis posted two goals, Sara Montoya had one and goalie Yaa Serwaa had two saves. Olivia Mummah tallied one assist.
Juniata travels to East Juniata on Saturday.
Mustangs shut out Huskies, 3-0
WEST PERRY — Mifflin County fell to 4-11 overall (4-8 Mid-Penn) after a 3-0 loss versus West Perry on Thursday.
Jalinn Kell (two goals), Vera Williams each scored for the Mustangs.
JV Huskies lost to Perry, 7-0.
Next, the Huskies host Waynesboro on Monday.

Trojans nudge Huskies, 2-1
HERSHEY — The Mifflin County field hockey traveled to Hershey for a Mid-Penn game against the Trojans on Thursday night.
The first and second quarters were scoreless for both teams. Both teams put up a good fight to try to get on the scoreboard.
With only a couple minutes left in the third quarter, the Trojans (6-4-2) got the first goal of the night.
The Huskies fought hard to change the score. During the beginning of the fourth quarter, Adalyn Amspacker finally scored a goal after a rebound from the goalie. The Trojans scored again on the Huskies during a penalty stroke, which resulted in the Trojans taking the lead.
JV Huskies lost 8-0 to Hershey.
The Huskies (6-11) face Northern (10-3) on Wednesday for their Pink Out game.
