Indians dodge Eagles, 9-4
MIFFLINTOWN — Juniata defeated Line Mountain baseball on Monday, 9-4.
Drew Geedey tallied three RBIs, a double and two runs for Juniata. Geedey added three stolen bases. Caleb Auker and Gage Harlon each had one RBI.
Juniata (5-5-1) scored four times in the sixth inning and twice in the second frame.
The Eagles (5-7) scored four runs in the third frame.
Juniata had five hits with one error. Line Mountain posted two hits and five errors.
On the mound, Bryce Harlon tossed three and one-third scoreless frames, struck out six batters, allowed one hit and walked six. He had four unearned runs.
Juniata hosts East Juniata (3-7) today at 4:30 p.m.

Wildcats drop Huskies, 4-1
MECHANICSBURG — Mifflin County tennis lost a road match to Mechanicsburg on Monday, 4-1.
The Huskies (5-9) got a win from Landon Mazur, who defeated the Wildcats in singles action, 6-4, 6-2.
The Huskies host Cumberland Valley on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Today Aiden Newlen and Landon Mazur will compete in the D6 Singles Championships at Mansion Park at 10 a.m.

Regan Lowrey went 1-for-2 with a lead-off home run for Juniata (3-6).
Juniata hosts Susquenita on Friday. Milton (7-3) hosts Mifflinburg today.
Tigers split twin bill
COCOLAMUS — East Juniata beat Greenwood, 12-3, during Monday’s softball action.
In Game 2, EJ lost to UDA, 17-1.
Next, EJ (3-5) hosts Susquenita on Wednesday.
