MIFFLINTOWN — St. Joe’s boys basketball defeated Juniata on Friday, 52-46.
Jayden Stamm had 17 points and Ethan Bowen tacked on 18 for the WolfPack (9-6). St. Joe’s had nine treys in the game.
For Juniata, Jasper Shepps tallied 21 points and Damien Vance posted 13. Ricky Guante added six points. Juniata hit five shots from downtown.
Juniata (7-8) travels to Greenwood on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
BMS bops Walnut, 61-34
BELLEVILLE — Belleville Mennonite boys hoops beat Walnut Street on Friday night, 61-34.
For BMS, Landon Yoder tallied 11 points and Grant Yoder recorded 17. Bryson Peachey added 10 points. Clay Ammon and Landon Rhodes each had seven points.
Justice Hall had 17 points for Walnut and Micah Borawicz added 12.
BMS (4-9) hosts Blacklick Valley today.
Tigers maul Lions, 69-46
WILLOW HILL — In Friday’s boys basketball action, Fannett-Metal beat Juniata Christian, 69-46.
For Fannett, Broc Hostler had 21 points and Landon Arnold posted 28 points. Jake Coffman tallied seven points. Fannett made nine threes.
For the Lions (0-14), Troy Hoover had 24 points and Hunter Shafferman added eight points. JCS hit five threes.
JCS hosts Belleville Mennonite on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Colts stump Huskies, 57-37
CAMP HILL — Cedar Cliff rolled by Mifflin County (7-12), 57-37, during girls basketball action Friday night.
Payton Weaver posted 14 points for the Huskies and teammate Jalee Bodtorf added nine points. Weaver had three treys. Bodtorf and Maelyn Gingrich each had one.
For the Colts, Lyla Kaercher chalked up 12 points and Paige Wehnert added 11.
In the JV game, the Colts toppled Mifflin County, 53-22. Mya Felmlee tallied 11 points.
The Huskies host Palmyra on Tuesday.
Thunder cracks Walnut, 47-22
BELLEVILLE — Belleville Mennonite girls hoops drubbed Walnut Street Friday, 47-22.
BMS (7-7, 4-4 ACAA) got 10 points from Karina Renno and Katelyn Renno corralled 27 points.
For Walnut, Morgan Heaton had 12 points and Sophia Raker added six points.
Today BMS hosts Blacklick Valley at 12 p.m.

At 215, Husky Avery Aurand got a technical fall win over Tyler Byerly, 17-0.
Andrew Alexander, at 107, got a 15-0 win over Eagle Wyatt Kitzmiller (tech. fall).
At 160, Colby Seiler earned a 10-5 win over Eagle Dominic Vogel.
Kamden Everly clipped Eagle Logan Maurer, 8-6, during the 139-pound bout.
At 285, Peyton Kearns pinned Eagle William Barrett at 1:21.

NEWPORT — Newport used a big second half to best East Juniata in girls hoops Thursday night, 42-29.
Gracyn Shutt had 10 points for the Buffaloes and Jillian Zerbe posted eight points.
For the Tigers, Makaylyn Peters recorded 10 points. Landyn Cramer and Madison Snyder each tallied eight points.
Newport outscored EJ in the final half, 28-17.
