Wolfley leads Mustangs in win
From staff reports
HUGHESVILLE–The Midd-West Mustangs offense was held in check for most of the game, but came alive at the right time, scoring a pair of runs in each of the final two innings to come away with a 6-2 win over Hughesville, on Saturday.
Caden Wolfley pitched 6.2 innings of splendid baseball, allowing no earned runs on two hits and six strikeouts. After Wolfley reached the pitch limit, Preston Arbogast came in to shut the door on Hughesville.
Despite the six runs, Wolfley was the only Mustang to record an RBI–the Hughesville defense committed four errors and allowed three unearned runs.
Midd-West’s Julian Krainak finished 2-for-4 at the plate, making him the lone player with multiple hits in the game.
