Warrior Run 46, Midd-West 44

TURBOTVILLE–The Midd-West Mustangs had a great first quarter and a solid fourth quarter, but struggled in the middle quarters of the game, in their 46-44 loss to Warrior Run, on Wednesday night.

The Mustangs got out to a 16-5 lead, thanks in part to stifling defense and a 10-point quarter from Braedon Reid. The script flipped in the second quarter as Warrior Run began to score and the Mustangs’ offense went cold. The struggles lasted into the third quarter as the Mustangs faced a 35-30 deficit.

Midd-West put forth an admirable effort in the fourth, but couldn’t salvage the win.

Reid led the scoring with 15 points, while Hunter Wolfley added 13 points of his own.
