Scholastic Sports

From staff reports

LEWISTOWN–Mifflin County defeated Philipsburg-Osceola by a final score of 51-38, on Saturday, at Mifflin County high school.

The Huskies struggled in the first half, falling behind by nine points, heading into halftime trailing 22-13.

During the intermission, the Huskies regrouped and turned their focus to stopping the Mounties from scoring. When Mifflin County returned to the floor, they did just that.

Their great defense led to more scoring chances and the Huskies took advantage. What started out as a nine-point deficit, quickly turned into a Mifflin County lead, and they never looked back.

Leading the way for the Huskies was Ty Felmlee who scored 12 points. Jayden Jackson and Cade Penepacker each added 11 points to the Huskies’ total.
