Greenwood drops narrow 59-58 district game to LCC

LANCASTER – The Greenwood boys basketball team used a big fourth-quarter surge but couldn’t complete the comeback in a 59-58 loss to Lancaster County Christian School in the third place game of the District 3 Class A tournament.

The Wildcats were led by Thomas Pyle who had a game-high 23 but the Wildcats couldn’t recover from a bad third quarter. The Wildcats advance to the state tournament after a fourth-place finish in districts.
