Wildcats coast to TVL win

DUNCANNON — The Greenwood boys basketball team wasted no time establishing an early lead and coasted to a convicing 52-25 win over Susquenita in a Tri-Valley League contest on Monday night in Duncannon.
Greenwood’s Thomas Pyle and Aaron Bollinger combined for four 3-pointers and led Greenwood with a combined 33 points.
The Wildcats ran out to a 26-7 lead by halftime and the Blackhawks struggled to keep pace throughout the night. The Wildcats led 40-14 through three quarters.
Greenwood improves to 6-4 and 4-2 in the TVL with the win, while Susquenita falls to 0-7 in the TVL and 0-8 overall.

MILLERSBURG — Juniata struggled to contain one of the Tri-Valley League’s top scorers on Monday night as Millersburg’s Christian Bingaman scored 26 points in a 52-47 win over Juniata in a TVL boys’ basketball contest in Millersburg.
Millersburg jumped out to a 28-19 advantage at the half, but Juniata rallied with a 28-point second half but it wasn’t enough down the stretch.
Juniata had a trio of players score in double figures, with Jamie Bailer, Jacob Condo and Emmanuel O’Donell each scoring 13 points.
Millersburg improved to 5-3 in the TVL and 8-4 overall, while Juniata fell to 4-3 in the TVL and 5-8 overall.
