COCOLAMUS — Kierstyn Fogle scored twice to lead East Juniata past Lewisburg 3-1 in a nonleague girls soccer game Wednesday.

“Unfortunately we’re fighting some illness across the team but the girls got the job done tonight,” East Juniata coach Val Dressler said. “We are hard to defend when we move the ball around but we just aren’t confident enough yet to do it for 80 minutes. Too many giveaways and errant passes. They know it wasn’t pretty but sometimes you just have to grind it out, and that’s what they did.”
