Retail theft - 1 p.m.- July 19 - Police said they arrested Sarah Adams, 31, of New Oxford, for retail theft at Walmart. According to the report, a loss prevention officer discovered Adams had concealed items within a diaper bag and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. Police said Adams was issued a citation.
Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown
Missing person - 8:40 p.m. - July 18 - Police said a 15-year-old white male, 5' 8", 115 pounds, of Mount Union, was reported missing. Police later located the individual.
Crash - 4:35 p.m. - July 18 - Police said Kimberly N. Mease, 22, of Mount Union was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado north on U.S Highway 522. According to the report, Liza R. Feagley, 17, of McVeytown, was driving north on U.S Highway 522 in a 2006 Suzuki Forenza at the same time and proceeded to turn into a driveway on the west side of the road. Police said Mease failed to stop her vehicle as Feagley was making the turn off the road, when Mease rear-ended Feagley's vehicle, hitting the rear passenger side of the car with its driver's side front end. According to the report, Mease's vehicle then traveled off the east side of the road, losing its front driver's side tire in the process, and hit a fence on the east side of the road before coming to rest. Police said both vehicles suffered disabling damage as a result of the crash. According to the report, Mease and Feagley were both wearing seat belts and were not injured in the crash. Police said Mease will be charged in the crash.
Theft - 4:30-7 p.m. - July 1 - Police said Paul Yakamook, of McVeytown reported that his Apple IPad was stolen from his residence.
DUI - 2:03 a.m. - July 19 - Police said during a traffic stop for an equipment violation on U.S Highway 522, Wayne Township, a 23-year-old female, of Mount Union, was found to be driving under the influence. Police said charges against the driver through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller's office are pending laboratory results.
Theft - 12 a.m., July 1 - Noon, July 10 - Police said they received a report that a flatbed car trailer, belonging to Harold Richard Kurtz, 72, of McClure, was taken from 387 Brower Road, Decatur Township. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 320-1010.
Theft of services - 4 p.m., July 18 - Police said someone placed trash in the dumpster at the Mifflin School House Apartments. According to the report, the dumpster is to be used by tenants of the apartment building. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 320-1010.
Confinement of dogs - 9:05 a.m. - July 20 - Police said Zachary Lynn Scheffel, of Milroy, will receive two non-traffic citations for confinement of dogs as a result of an officer being charged by two unrestrained dogs while on Scheffel's property.

Act 64- 5:06 p.m. - July 18 - Police said they encountered a 36-year-old male, of Mount Union, on Wrangletown Road, Shirley Township, Huntingdon County. According to the report, the suspect was in possession of suspected Xanax without a prescription. Police said the suspected Xanax was sent to the PSP lab for testing. According to the report, charges against the subject are pending lab results.
