DUI - 11:47 a.m. - July 3 - Police said Allen Nutter, 51, of Lancaster, Ohio, was found to be driving under the influence in the area of Juniata Street and Cramer Lane in Mifflin. According to a report, charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline T. Leister's office.
Accident - 12:41 p.m. - July 13 - Police said Christopher Shawver, 22, of Mifflintown, was traveling east on Cleck Road lost control of his 2001 Ford Windstar while traveling along a left curve in the road. According to a report, after losing control, the vehicle hit an embankment and slid sideways hitting a utility pole. Police said after hitting the utility pole, the vehicle rolled over causing Shawver to be ejected from the vehicle. According to a report, the vehicle continued to roll over and hit a building before coming to a stop facing west. Police said no alcohol was involved and Shawver was cited through Magisterial District Judge Barbara M. Lyter's office.
Disorderly conduct - 2:21 a.m. - July 15 - Police said a 17-year-old, of Duncannon, Channing Atwood, 18, of Liverpool, Richard Taylor, 40, of Elliotsburg, and Troy Love, 41, of Landisburg, were yelling and causing a disturbance at the Mifflintown Mart on William Penn Highway, Walker Township. According to the report, some of them were urinating in the parking lot in view of other customers. Police said all three will be cited for disorderly conduct.
