Lenny also leaves behind: his three children, Richard Stomackin and his wife, Karen, of Lewistown, Irwin Stomackin, of Escondido, Calif., and Robin Healy and her husband, Michael, of Huntington Valley; six grandchildren; and one great-grand- daughter.
His family was the center of his world.
In his life Lenny served in the military, learning many languages and collecting many a tall tale. He rode Harley-Davidson motorcycles and was a truck driver for years, working for the Philadelphia Bulletin and as an over-the-road-driver. He would often remark, "I could put a trailer in there!" when looking at tight parking spaces.
An avid animal lover, Lenny was known to bring home cats, dogs and other critters unannounced, much to the joy of his children and grandchildren! He was known to say he couldn't bear to see an animal mistreated or hurt.
So, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to Pets Come First, the New SPCA in State College at www.pets-comefirst.net.
Lenny's family asks that in memorial of their beloved family member and friend, please remember Len with a smile on your face and joy in your heart. He was an exceptional individual, and we are all better for having known him.
