PEORIA, Ariz. - Antonia Gallucci, 101, of Yeagertown, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at the Sterling House, Peoria, Ariz.
Born Dec. 3, 1911, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Adalide (Torquato) DiMattia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen A. Gallucci, on July 10, 1989, a brother and two sisters.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph G. Gallucci, of Lewiston, Idaho, Rose Marie Rheam and husband, Robert, of Roseville, Calif., Annette Buford and husband, Max, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Carmalene Bruner and husband, Phillip, of Peoria, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Early in life, she was employed at the American Viscose Corporation in Lewistown. She was then a cook at Stewart's Restaurant and was the owner/operator of Gallucci Service Station, in Yeagertown.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, in Lewistown, and a member of the Derry Township Senior Citizens Center.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 106 N. Dorcas St., Lewistown, with the Rev. William Weary officiating. Interment will be held in Juniata Memorial Park.
