Why do people still believe Trump won?

To the editor:

A present day phenomenon is how anyone could believe former President Trump’s claims that he won the 2020 presidential election by a landslide. He is the least popular president in recent history, having lost the 2016 popular vote by almost 3 million votes.

Polls throughout his tenure by the main polling institutions showed he had the lowest favorability from Harry Truman on. Trump never broke 50%.

Where did the landslide come from?

There are not similar election fraud complaints from other Republicans on ballots across the nation.

President Trump’s condition of narcissism does not allow him to lose an election and he seems to be becoming delusional about it.

Also, remaining in the presidency would protect him from being accountable for his illegal activities.

Voters would not accept such behavior from county commissioners, township officials, etc., so why believe the obvious untruths of President Trump?
