Americans need to reflect and repent
To the editor:
President Joe Biden held a moment of silence for the over 500,000 COVID-19 victims this past year in our country.
Christians also mourn for the innocent babies who needlessly lost their lives in the womb. We should hold a moment of silent meditation for the over 3,000 abortion victims who are purposely killed each day in the USA.
During this Lenten period we all — from the president to the Congress to the governors to the state legislators to “extraordinary” citizens — need to reflect and repent. We need to hold a prayer vigil for all Americans. We need to repent of our sins and ask God’s forgiveness.
