Thank you for assistance with red kettle drive

To the editor:

The Juniata County Salvation Army Service Unit would like to thank the following businesses, who helped us with the Kettle Drive: Mexico Market (bell ringer kettle), Schlegel’s Groceries (bell ringer kettle), Harshbarger’s Restaurant, Rutter’s, Walnut Cheese Nook, The Little Store, The Bread of Life Restaurant, Dean’s Store, Rosewood Market, McAlisterville OIP and Port Royal OIP.

Of the money that is put into the kettles, 90% of it stays in the county to be used to help people here in the county. A special thank you, bell ringers, we really appreciate you giving up so many hours that you could be doing other things.

We would also, like to say thank you to the businesses who had put our angels on their trees for people to take and purchase toys for children in the county. We also want to thank all the people who took the angels and bought gifts for our children here in the county.
