Trivia event’s success is because of help of many

To the editor:

As the coordinator of the Mifflin County Historical Society Goose Day Team Trivia event, I would like to thank the following: Harve McCardle and The Boulevard Station Car Wash and John Pannizzo and the Downtown OIP and Grille for sponsoring the event, Lynne Weaver of the Logan House, Jane and Dave Esh from Esh’s Orchard, Forest Fisher, Jenny Landis and Cathe Snedeker for donating raffle prizes, and the Burnham Lions Club for opening its kitchen and allowing us to hold our event in its building.

A special thank you to Jed Donahue for lending his voice and talent to emcee the event, and to Kate and Ed Snyder, Angela Niman, Forest Fisher for volunteering their time and energy to the event.

Finally, a special thanks to the trivia teams — The Sauerkrauts, Ward 7, 41 Candles, The Blackberries, The Michaelmas Mensa Society, Albino Squirrel Hunters and Burnham Bunch — whose support and generosity made the event a success.
