To the editor:

We would like to recognize and share the outstanding care that the UPMC Hospice team provided our family.

Our father, Robert Klinger Sr. fought a long battle and recently went home to be with the Lord. No words can begin to express our gratitude and love for each and every one of them. Their gift of professionalism and compassion made our father’s final days extraordinary.

A world of thanks to: Lauren Clark, Amy Parks, Jan Britt, Vicky Wray, Morgan Narehood, Amber Hancock, Amy Collins and Deb Curry.

In addition, special thanks to: Dr. Swindell from the hospice, Dr. Fiume, Kara Harris, Missy Diven, Doreen Pent and Carolyn Butterworth.

Our father passed peacefully at home knowing how loved he was by the UPMC Hospice team, our friends, neighbors and family.

We are eternally grateful for the blessing of those who traveled with us through his journey and gave us cherished memories.
