Not all who read The Sentinel are conservative

To the editor:

This morning I looked at the cartoons on the editorial page of the last 11 issues of the Sentinel. Two cartoons were non-political (Super Bowl, Punxsutawney Phil); one might have been left-leaning, depending on how you look at it (Howard Schultz-Electoral College). Twelve were either praising Trump or demeaning liberals.

I realize the Sentinel’s coverage area is very conservative, but there are some liberals in the area. If, say, 25 or 30 percent of area citizens vote Democratic, wouldn’t it be fair of The Sentinel to include some cartoons with a leftward slant? Or do we only need to be fair to Republicans?
