America’s top priority has to be rebuilding its credibility

The loud yawn you may have heard Sunday came from across the Pacific Ocean, in Pyongyang, North Korea. It was a reaction to a statement by President Barack Obama condemning North Korea’s recent nuclear test.

The United States will never accept North Korea as a nuclear power, Obama added.

Really? North Korea already has nuclear weapons and is perfecting them, along with missiles to deliver them.

No one in the world worries much about criticism from the United States, because of Obama’s long record of drawing red lines, then doing nothing when they are crossed.

Whether our next president is Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, rebuilding our credibility will have to be a top priority.
