Stewart Wade MacDonald
Stewart Wade MacDonald, 73 of Lewistown, passed away at his residence on Friday, Aug. 4, 2023. He was born on April 9, 1950 to the late William MacDonald and Nancy (Thomas) Sheridan.
Stewart was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the American Legion Post 1 and VFW Post 7011. He worked as a Corrections Officer at the Huntingdon Prison and enjoyed watching rodeos in his free time.
Stewart is survived by his children, Brian MacDonald and wife, Cara, Davenna MacDonald, Phillip MacDonald, Jonathan MacDonald, and Katrina MacDonald; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and siblings, Suzanne Snare, William MacDonald, Pam Rinker, and Carole McCurry. He is also preceded in death by his step-father, Phillip Sheridan.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
