Betty I. Robinson

She was born on April 21, 1934, in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. She was a daughter of the late Oscar Cleveland and Beatrice Stella (Philpott) Ambrose.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Edward Robinson, who passed on Feb. 12, 1990; three brothers and one sister. She was the last of her immediate family.

She is survived by; children, Teresa A. Hesson and husband, Gary, of Lewistown, PA, Deborah S. Stuck and husband, Dennis, of Rapid City, SD, Julie K. Findley and husband, Harold, of Altoona, PA, and Michael A. Robinson and wife, Stella, of Lewistown, PA; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a member of the Lewistown Alliance Church (CMA) in Juniata Terrace.

Betty worked as a supervisor at Lewistown Specialty Yarns (Avtex) where she retired after 25 years of service.

She loved spending time and traveling with her family; she was always up for an adventure. Betty was a wonderful cook and baker; she took pride in preparing delicious meals and pastries for family gatherings. She enjoyed surveying antique shops, yard sales, and auctions to find the perfect pieces for her collection of antique glassware and pottery. Her kind heart and gentle touch will truly be missed by all who knew her.

A viewing will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2023, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m., with Mr. Earl Pete Weaver officiating.

Interment will take place at Lind Memorial Cemetery.
