Judith A. Aultz

Born June 9, 1944, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Gerald R. and Violet R. (Neff) Bloom.

Her husband, Harry J. “Barney” Aultz, whom she married June 13, 1964, preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 2022.

Also preceding her in death was a son, Harry L. Aultz on Jan. 28, 2019; a sister, Sharon Barraclough; and her twin brother, Jerry Bloom.

Surviving are: a daughter, Sue A. Baumgardner and husband, Jeff, of Lewistown; a daughter-in-law, Lori A. Aultz, of Lewistown; four siblings, Geraldine Harpster, of Lewistown, Karon Zimmerman, of Yeagertown, Carol Bloom, of Burnham, Darrell Bloom, of Mt. Union; and six grandchildren, Derek Wileman, Joshua Aultz, Allison Aultz, Jonas Aultz, Erin Hatter, and April Yoder.

A homemaker, she also had worked as an attendant at Chief Logan High School.

Judy enjoyed taking walks and, most of all, time spent with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 S Market St., McVeytown, with Pastor Ethan Druckenmiller officiating. Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.

A viewing will be held from noon until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
