E. Louise Flood

E. Louise Flood, 77, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at her home.

Born May 23, 1944, in Elkins, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Ara Lynn (Ware) Wamsley and stepfather, Paul Wamsley, who raised her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Harold G. Flood, who passed Feb. 8, 2021; brothers, Larry and Gary Schueck; and a nephew, Bobby Carson; and a brother-in-law, Jim Carson.

She is survived by children, Karen Lynn Moffit and husband, John, of West Chester, and Steven Flood and wife, Katy, of Lewistown; seven grandchildren, Caitlin, Annie, and Sarah Moffit, Jacob and wife, Kasey, Jared, Jackson, and Grace Flood; siblings, Karen Carson, of Mill Creek, Joe Schueck and wife, Donna, of Millersburg; sisters-in-law, Sherry Schueck, of Huntingdon, and Louise Bender, of Hudson.

Louise was a 1962 graduate of Captain Jack High School in Mount Union.

She was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Lewistown.

Louise worked as an office manager for Agway energy products for 22 years; Snedeker Energy; Lewistown Hospital; and at the Mifflin County courthouse in a tipstaff position for Judge Barron.

She enjoyed painting, crochet/needlepoint, reading and playing dominoes with her girlfriends. She loved her family; her life was her children and grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at Lewistown C&MA church, 50 Hudson Ave., Lewistown, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Looney officiating.
