Richard C. “Dick” Wilson

Richard C. ‘Dick’ Wilson, 85, of Yeagertown, passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020, at Locust Grove, in Mifflin.

Born July 31, 1935, in McClure, he was a son of the late William A. and Clara E. (Fultz) Wilson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, three brothers, Eugene, Paul and William H. Wilson; and a sister, Erma M. Lucas.

He is survived by: wife, Yvonne M. ‘Bonnie’ (Bodtorf) Wilson, whom he married Oct. 29, 1956; four children, Richard B. Wilson and wife, Melanie, of Harrisburg, Susan Y. Wilson-Bell and companion, Dale K. Casner, of Lewistown, Kelly L. Wilson and wife, Denette, of Yeagertown, Lori A. Bitner, and husband, Gregg, of Milroy; four very special grandchildren, Tyler and Lauren Wilson, and Allison and Aaron Bitner; and one great-granddaughter, Alexa Hunter; and a brother, Gerald L. Wilson and wife, Gwendolyn, of Yeagertown.

Richard was a member of Yeagertown United Methodist Church.

He attended school in Derry Township.

Richard worked for U.S. Steel, in Morrisville and later at the Standard Steel in Burnham, for 15 years. He was self-employed until he retired.

Upon retirement he loved to travel, spend time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed.

Per his wishes, no services will be held.
