Dottie is survived by two daughters, Joan (Marlin) Donahey and Cheryl (David) Walters; stepson, Jordan (Myra) Rupert; six grandchildren, Heidi (Joseph) Poliafico, Melanie (Sean) Keene, Adam (Patricia) Donahey, Kimberly (Lance) Smith, Carolyn (Jake) Ward and Jonathan (Ashley) Walters; 11 great-grandchildren, Lauren and Miranda Poliafico, Emerson and Ryan Keene, Oliver, Lily and Benjamin Smith, Andrew and Mary Donahey and Jamison and Onnalee Walters; sister-in-law, Doris Rupert; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Dottie worked at Russell National Bank in Lewistown, for 50 years, retiring at age 70. She had quite the following of clients who insisted they only work with Dottie. Being a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lewistown she was the pianist for the adult Sunday school classes, counted the church offering every Monday morning and helped her husband, Ray, prepare the church dinners and picnics. She adored spending quality time with all her immediate and extended family members. Dottie was extremely selfless and provided care and transportation for many friends and family members. She had the biggest heart with the kindest smile. She always made everyone feel welcome. Dottie was a beautiful role model for compassion, kindness, forgiveness and love. She had a devilish side to her as well, always a jokester and prankster but her sheepish grin gave her away each time. Dottie loved vacationing with family and thoroughly enjoyed a great game of pinochle and canasta. We all loved Dottie and will miss her dearly!

Dottie’s life will be celebrated during a private ceremony, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lewistown.
