Terry W. Harshbarger
Terry W. Harshbarger, 60, of state Route 103 North, Mattawana, passed away at 11:10 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his home with his wife and daughters by his side.
Born Jan. 2, 1959, in McVeytown, he was a son of Darlene R. (Krepps) Harshbarger of McVeytown, and the late Ralph W. ‘Bink’ Harshbarger. His wife, Diane E. (Hesser) Harshbarger, whom he married June 26, 1980, survives.
Also surviving are: two daughters, Danielle R. Harshbarger of Granville, Desiree K. Harshbarger of Lewistown; two sisters, Sherry Wright and husband Randall of McClure, Andrea Harshbarger of McClure; a brother, Michael Harshbarger of McVeytown; a 9 year old granddaughter, Rowan Searer, of Lewistown; and a 4 year old grandson, Logan Tyson, of Granville.
A 1976 graduate of Rothrock High School, he was employed as a shipping clerk at Overhead Door Corp. in Lewistown for 41 years.
Terry was a member of the Moose Family Center in Lewistown.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed hunting trips to Montana and fishing trips to Canada. He also enjoyed camping with his family, as well as playing golf and billiards. His faithful dog, Parker, was always nearby.
Most of all, he cherished time spent with his beloved grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren, 67 Pine Glen Road, Lewistown, with Pastor Randy Fiske officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the church.
