Elizabeth ‘Betty’ B. Van Natta

Elizabeth “Betty” B. Van Natta, 97, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at Mountain View a Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born in Huntingdon, on Nov, 3, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Clara (Burns) Bert.

She was a graduate of Huntingdon High School and attended secretarial school.

She was married in the Episcopal Church in Hagerstown, Md., to the late Dr. Thomas M. Van Natta Jr., who preceded her in death in 1982.

She was a very active member of the Lewistown Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nedra (Van Natta) Templar, and her husband, Michael, of Shamokin; two grandchildren, Thomas Templar, and his wife, Tiffany, of Shamokin and Celine Templar, and her companion, Dean Hollenbach, of Sunbury, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to attend a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at Mount Rock Cemetery, 35 Oakland Ave., Lewistown, with the Reverends Robert Zorn and Cindy Carlisle, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be made to the Lewistown Presbyterian Church, 17 East Third St., Lewistown, PA, 17044. Farrow-C.J.
