Barry M. McKnight

Barry M. McKnight, of Gardiner, New York, a diesel mechanic for Yellow Freight, Maybrook, New York, and a resident of the area died Dec. 30, 2014, in the Bronx. He was 72.

The son of the late Paul and Mary McKnight, he was born Dec. 20, 1942, in Yeagertown.

He was a member of the NRA and attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Walden, New York.

Survivors include: his son, Timothy Alan McKnight and daughter, Michelle S. McKnight, both of Plattekill, New York; son, Kenneth M. McKnight and his wife, Charlene, of Gardiner; daughter, Crystal L. Brown and her husband, Trotskeye, of Plattekill; eight grandchildren, Kara, Justin, Alyssa, Julian, Anesa, Amenya, Aubrey and Trotskeye “Little Trot”; brother, Ron McKnight and his wife, Mary, of Walden; sister, Mary P. Pry, of Lewistown; brother, Robert M. McKnight and his wife, Sharon, of Pine Bush, New York; brother, Samuel R. McKnight and his wife, Sharon, of New Paltz, New York; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Janet Leister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2520 Route 208, Walden, NY 12586.
