Church book can be preordered

LEWISTOWN — The Sentinel’s 11th limited edition keepsake book, “Keeping the Faith: Churches of the Juniata Valley,” is available for preorder. Churches and individuals who allowed us to use materials to produce the book — which profiles more than 30 houses of worship in Mifflin and Juniata counties — may pick them up from Lifestyles Editor Jeff Fishbein between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at The Sentinel office in Pleasant Acres.

The book, which combines historical text and photos from participating churches, is expected to be ready for delivery in several weeks, in time for Christmas. There’s still plenty of time to order the book, which costs $24.95 plus tax and shipping. Those interested may order in person at our office, 352 Sixth St., Lewistown, by phone at (717) 248-6741 or on The Sentinel’s website at www.lewistownsentinel.com.
