Brosius’ first church services will be at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at 9 a.m. July 1 and Richfield United Methodist Church at 10:15 a.m. July 5.
The service at Richfield United Methodist will be live on Zoom for worship. Brosius will provide scripture and his sermon live on his Facebook page at about 10:30 a.m.
Brosius and his family came from the Bloomsburg area to Port Royal in 2014.
Caren is employed with M & T Bank. Grace is a junior at Bloomsburg University and Scott is a recent graduate of Juniata High School. He plans to attend Penn State University in Harrisburg.
Brosius had the opportunity to say “goodbyes” to his congregations at Port Royal United Methodist Church and Matamoras United Methodist Church, where he previously served as reverend, on June 14 at three worship services. He wished to say “thank you” for all the cards and the sent off cake. “We’ve had a great six years. It’s time to pass on the mantle to the next pastor,” he said.
