Ellen Chapel to host coffee house
LEWISTOWN –Ellen Chapel Church will host its coffee house beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday with accordion music played by Greg Devecchis. At 8:15 p.m., Richard Sleigh will provide voice, guitar, and harmonica music in a variety of styles.
Attendees can enjoy music, a snack and coffee or iced tea. This is an event for the community to attend. There is no charge to attend but donations will be accepted.
Stony Run Mission to host the Segers
McALISTERVILLE — Stony Run Mission, 2825 Evendale Hill Road, McAlisterville, will host the Segers, who will sing at 6 p.m. Jan. 19.
March for Life bus trip planned
MILLERSTOWN — Heartbeat Community Services Inc. will host a bus trip to the 2020 March for Life in Washington D.C. on Jan. 24.
The bus will leave promptly at 6:30 am from the Millerstown Community Building (the concessions building for the carnival) and return home between 10:30 and 11 p.m. Bring a packed lunch.
A restroom/coffee stop will be made on the way as well as a dinner stop at Hoss’s Steak and Seahouse in Maryland on the way home. Meals at both stops will be the responsibility of the attendee. Dress in plenty of layers. Pastor Wyatt Taylor, of Turkey Valley Methodist Church, will be the group leader. The cost of the trip is $40 for adults. No charge for teenagers.

CASSVILLE — Crossview Missional Church in Huntingdon County will host its fourth annual wild game meal on Jan. 25. The guest speaker is Ryan Walk, of Tyrone. Walk has been a professional hunting guide for 18 years at Quest Haven Lodge in Tyrone and enjoys hunting, fishing and God’s beautiful creation. Walk serves as the director of the outdoorsman camping ministry at Truth Quest Ministries, also of Tyrone.
