Paintersville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church
PAINTERSVILLE — Paintersville Christian and Missionary Alliance church is having “The Incredible Race Vacation Bible School” 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. Wednesday evenings June 12, 19, 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Aug. 7 and 14. Lessons will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 17 to June 19 for ages 5 to 10. MIFFLINTOWN — A summer day camp sponsored by Centre Lutheran Church, Mifflintown in partnership with Camp Mount Luther will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 17 to 21. Youth who have completed kindergarten through sixth grades are invited to experience outdoor ministries. Staff from Camp Mount Luther and volunteers from Centre Lutheran Church will bring fun, fellowship and the love of God through the day camp program. LEWISTOWN — First United Methodist Church wil host Vacation Bible School with the theme “Roar” June 23 to 27. During the program, youth age 3 to completion of fifth grade will discover that God is good even when life gets wild. They will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play team building games, devour treats, experience one-of-a kind Wilkd Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, that they’ll take home and play with all summer kong. Attendees will also learn to look for evidence of God. Each day concludes with the Safari Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join daily for this special time at 8:15 p.m. The program is held 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day. A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. There will be a special closing program on the last night.
