Calendar

The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.

Events that require a purchase from a for-profit business, even if a donation is made to the organization, are not eligible for the calendar.

Please be brief and include only basic details. If possible, provide a phone number or email address to be published with contact information.

• Thanksgiving Day meal — Thursday Nov. 27. New Life Church will partner with Calvary Lewistown to deliver or provide a Thanksgiving meal to be picked-up. Takeout will be available at 101 N. Beech St., Burnham between 10 a.m. and noon. Shut-ins can receive free delivery in Lewistown, Burnham, Yeagertown, Reedsville and Milroy. Calvary Lewistown will provide meals for pick-up between 10 a.m. and noon. Dine-in from 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m., 111 E. Third St., Lewistown on Thanksgiving Day. Reserve your pick-up or dine-in meals by calling (717) 242-1481 no later than 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
