Car seat collection event slated for Thursday

BELLEFONTE — A car seat round up to collect children’s car seats that are expired, damaged or unsafe so they may be properly disposed of will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.Thursday.

The event will be held at the Centre County PennDOT maintenance headquarters at 1000 East Bishop St., Bellefonte.

The first 10 families to bring an unsafe car seat will receive a coupon for a free 10-inch cheese pizza, courtesy of Pizza Mia, 106 N. Main St., Bellefonte.
