Historical Society library closed for repairs

LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin County Historical Society’s Archive Library will be closed temporarily for construction in the historic courthouse. The office will be open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but there will be no research services available on site. The Family Tree Program will continue as will a few basic research services like obituary searches, but most of the research books will be in storage for the duration of Phase 1 of the County’s rehabilitation plan for the building.
