As Easter approaches, some local volunteer fire companies are selling Easter flowers throughout the county. Flowers can be found at the following fixed locations: Milroy Fire & EMS, College Avenue, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday; City Hook & Ladder, Valley Street, Lewistown, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday; McVeytown EMS, U.S. 522 S., McVeytown, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; Mifflin County Forest Fighters, Third and Juniata Streets, Lewistown, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. until sold out on Sunday; Belleville Fire Co., East Main Street, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday; Chief Logan Fire Co., Highland Park, Highland Avenue, 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; In Juniata County, flowers will be on sale at the Thompsontown Fire Co., State St., Thompstontown 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
