LEWISTOWN — The last day to submit election candidacy announcements for publication will be by 3 p.m. Friday, April 18. April 18 will also be the deadline for consideration of election-related letters to the editor.

Notes to keep in mind:

Election letters: for verification purposes, letters submitted for possible publication must include:

• The writer’s legal name

• full home mailing address

• home and day phone numbers

Only the author’s name and town will be published.

Generally, only one election letter will be considered from the same individual. If multiple letters, signed by different writers, present identical or similar content, only one of the said letters will be published.

Letters should be 300 words or less and be typed and/or emailed. Hand• written letters will be considered, but must be legible.

The Sentinel reserves the right to edit or reject any letter.
