PORT ROYAL — While the Juniata County Fair certainly offers thrilling entertainment, agricultural exhibits, delicious food, livestock shows and racing year after year, officials were thrilled to announce the return of one exciting pastime.
Heart-pounding rodeo action, anyone?
That’s right the Juniata County Fair officials – which earlier announced scheduling Parmalee, a popular country music group for the 2025 event, now had added an action-packed evening featuring bulls, broncs, and barrel racing to the fairgrounds.
Although the 171st edition of the fair, which is scheduled for Aug. 30 through Sept. 6 at the Juniata County Fairgrounds in Port Royal, is still five months away, there’s already a buzz in the air.
“We are excited to bring the rodeo back to the Juniata County Fair,” said Seth Koser, president of the Juniata County Agricultural Society. “The combination of rodeo entertainment and the rich traditions of our fair makes for an unforgettable night.”
