Workshop offers strategies to improve baleage quality

UNIVERSITY PARK — Dairy, livestock and hay producers can learn how to improve baleage quality at an upcoming Penn State Extension workshop, “Better Forage with Baleage and Haylage,” which will be March 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Penn State Extension Bedford County Office, Bedford.

This session will explore how best management practices for planting, fertility, harvesting and storage work together to produce high-quality fermented forage.

Organizers encourage participants to register by March 25.
