BELLEVILLE — Belleville Mennonite School is serving up turkey entrées to go with a side of living history at its upcoming open house.
From 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, the school, located on Front Mountain Road in Belleville, will host its annual Open House, Living History Museum and turkey dinner. The public is invited to discover Belleville Mennonite through the classrooms, hallways, staff and students.
Additionally, a homemade turkey dinner will be served by the cafeteria staff, starting at 5 p.m. The cost of the meal is $12, with either dine-in or takeout available.
Classrooms and hallways across the campus will be filled with a showcase of student writing assignments, special class projects and artwork. Eighth-grade students will host the traditional Living History Museum in the school’s gymnasium.
Personalized tours of the school will be offered throughout the evening and prospective families who sign up for a tour can enjoy a free turkey dinner. Families who are interested in kindergarten can join a special Bear Hunt to explore the classroom and other learning spaces at 5:15, 5:45 or 6:15 p.m.
