First Bakers UMC to host Bible study
McCLURE — First Bakers United Methodist Church will host a Bible study every Wednesday at 7 p.m. The church will also host a youth group for individuals under age 18 on the first Thursday of each month, except July.

The 4th Annual Toilet Paper Bowl of Caring collection is underway. Each year, community congregations challenge each other to collect toilet paper for the Juniata County Food Pantry. This year Trinity Lutheran Church, Lost Creek Presbyterian Church, East Salem Community Church and Otterbein Global Methodist Church are teaming up. Our combined goal is 3,000 single rolls. Please bring all donations to participating churches by Feb. 9 (Super Bowl Sunday).
