Tree trimming starts Feb. 4 in Centre County

CLEARFIELD — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that a project to trim and remove trees on two Centre County roadways starts Feb. 4. This work will enhance driver safety and extend the service life of the roadway surface.

This work will impact traffic on Route 477 (Livonia Mountain Road) between the Centre-Clinton County line and Route 192 (Brush Valley Road). Drivers may also encounter crews working on Route 880 (Rebersburg Mountain Road) between the intersection of Harter Mills Trail at the Centre-Clinton County line and Route 192 (Main Street).

PennDOT anticipates short delays as flaggers in the roadway provide traffic control. It urges drivers to exercise caution in all work zones, watch for flaggers and slow-moving or stopped traffic. PennDOT anticipates this work will take several months to complete.

Starting at $2.99/week.
